Bergsig Lodge is located on a 1000ha game farm in the Marken area on the edge of the Waterberg Biosphere. The Phalala River forms one of the boundaries of the farm. We focus on eco-tourism, but also offer hunting opportunities. A map of the farm will be provided to guests who would like to go on a self-drive safari.

Bergsig Lodge only offers self-catering accommodation. We have a neat, well-equipped kitchen, lapa and braai area. There is a swimming pool to cool off in after a full day of activity.
We can accommodate up to 20 guests in 10 luxury en-suite rooms, each with a double bed. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning. The lodge lends itself extensively to small group gatherings for the perfect break-away from the everyday hustle and bustle.
The farm has plenty of plains game and many hunters return every year for an unforgettable hunting experience. Slaughter and refrigeration facilities are available. Our two highly rated guides are invaluable to any hunter.
Bowhunters are also welcome - we have two shelters at the game watering holes set up for bowhunting. If desired, hunting packages can be put together for groups.
At Bergsig Lodge we offer a variety of activities for eco-tourists.
The Waterberg Biosphere is rich in bird life. Take a walk with your binoculars or sit in one of the shelters next to the game watering holes to enjoy the birdlife.
Bring your own fishing rod and bait and fish along the Phalala river under shady trees.
Two hiking trails, 1km and 4km respectively, take you to the wide variety of trees that the Bushveld offers.
There are two MTB routes, 14km and 30km respectively, which are suitable for the whole family. Bring your bike and ride off into the bushveld! This allows our guests to experience the scenery and wildlife in a unique way.
